What Flower Matches Your Astrology Sign?

Flowers might not be the first thing you think about when considering your horoscope; it’s not something that often gets brought up. But there’s a great deal more to your zodiac sign than just the animal that represents you. If you delve a bit deeper there’s many layers involved in the zodiac, and many different aspects of the horoscope. Picking your ideal flower is just the tip of the ice berg, but it’s definitely a pretty (and scented) place to start. So whether you are planning on planting some flowers in your garden or gifting them to a friend or loved one, take a look at this guide to see what suits each zodiac sign best.

What’s your star sign?

Aries (21st March – 20th April)
A touch on the fiery side, Aries are ambitious and determined folk, and don’t take things lightly, but they are quick thinkers and always making sure things get done. Peppermints, Tiger Lilly and Honeysuckles are all perfect Aries flowers. growing Tiger Lilly

Taurus (21st April – 20th May)
Steadfast, and reliable, the Taurus can always be trusted to do what they say. They have a tendency to be a bit stubborn and bull-headed, but they are also loving and romantic, and harbour a love of the beautiful and sensual, Violets, Roses and Daisies fits this bill. They are a great low maintenance gardening option too.

Gemini (21st May – 20th June)
Known for being often quite contrary in their ways, Geminis are some of the most creative and inventive of the Zodiacs. They happily embrace change, and adapt well to new surroundings and experiences. Friendly and sociable, the typical Gemini is rarely alone, so Lavender and Azaleas are perfect companions. planting lavender

Cancer (21st June – 22nd July)
A sensitive soul, a typical Cancer tends to be highly emotional and romantic. Cancers embrace their sensitivity to offer kindness and are thoughtful and generous friends. Due to their sensitive and pure nature, a typical Cancer will appreciate the beauty of a pure white flower, so Lilies and White Roses are ideal. What’s more, they don’t require too much garden care.

Leo (23rd July – 22nd August)
A force of nature, the Leo is a strong, confident character that enjoys being the centre of attention. Bright and bold is what the Leo is known for, so the Sunflower is the natural match. But anything with a strong colour is also a likely companion flower, such as Passion Flowers and Marigolds. Passion Flower garden care

Virgo (23rd August – 22nd September)
Detail orientated, Virgos are great planners and like to know exactly how everything is working. They also have a fun loving nature. Virgos are perfectly accompanied by smaller, precise flowers such as Buttercups and Narcissus. Planting these in your garden will give you a lovely splash of colour in the spring.

Libra (23rd September – 22nd October)
Personified by balance and fairness, they tend to be full of kindness, and have a gentle nature, not wanting to upset the balance around them, Daisies and Bluebells are their typical match. planting daisies

Scorpio (23rd October – 22nd November)
The typical Scorpio present as pretty intense in whatever they pursue, and will rarely quit until they succeed. Strong and intense flowers such as Holly and Geraniums compliment the tenacious nature of the typical Scorpio.

Sagittarius (23rd November – 21st December)
Sagittarius folk are a courageous and thoughtful type. Open minded and ever seeking new ideas, Carnations and Blackberries suit the innovative and direct approach of the Sagittarius. carnation gardening

Capricorn (22st December – 19th January)
Capricorns excel at self-discipline, and yet still enjoy being able to indulge and enjoy the finer things in life. Flowers such as Ivy, and Baby’s Breath are perfect matches.

Aquarius (20th January – 19th February)
Independent in their approach, and yet fiercely loyal, loving and kind. Orchids and Gladiolus represent the independent and non-conformist ways of the Aquarius personality. However, the former require a bit more effort in garden maintenance. Orchids garden maintenance

Pieces (20th February – 19th March)
Pieces love to understand themselves and those around them. Naturally sensitive and thoughtful, they well known for their daydreamy ways. Pieces’ perfect flowers include the Water Lilly, and moss.

The next time you plan on sprucing up your garden design with some flowers, be sure to pick the ones that complement your star sign best. Your landscaping choice can help bring you inner peace, so make a wise decision.
